Limestsone

In this design project, developed by interior designer Yvette Taylor, light brown natural stone from Egypt has been used for the interior and exterior floors, combined with light-coloured limestone with a non-slip finish around the perimeter of the pool.

The exterior elements stand out—balustrades and column cladding in Portuguese white limestone—which, in combination with the wooden beams, evoke the authentic style of Mediterranean estates.

This careful selection of materials has made it possible to maintain the warmth and character of Mediterranean architecture, while introducing a contemporary language that reinforces the visual and sensory connection with the natural environment.

The use of these natural stones not only provides a sober and elegant aesthetic, but also contributes to the thermal comfort of the space, maintaining a pleasant surface temperature even under direct sunlight. Their resistance, durability and non-slip properties make them a functional and sophisticated solution for high-standard outdoor and indoor environments.
